The Committee for Granting Archon Status was a committee composed of 34 members of the Imperial Parliament empowered with the authority to grant commoners noble (Archon) status, including a seat in Parliament that could be passed on to an heir (just about any family member the current Archon and parliamentary member desired).
The committee could only grant noble and parliamentary membership to Star Elves and Asguardian Dwarfs, not to Aliens.
